Due to the high frequency conversion operations in PV systems, interference often occurs on communication cables. This means that it is not always possible to guarantee interference-free monitoring of PV systems. Wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz band is free from electromagnetic interference and is therefore ideal for use in PV systems. Using new wireless modules, the RS-485 serial cable can be easily and flexibly replaced by a secure, interference-free wireless connection.
